Black or Brown
Whether being black or brown
Don't be down with a frown
It doesn't matter, the sight
Because black or brown
They all make white
'No Men are Foreign' is a beautiful poem by James Kirkup. Even being an English man, he was fascinated by the Japanese traditions and took part in them. He says that by sight and beliefs we may be different but beneath everything, we are the same. We have the same body and soul. We have the same fate too. In the end, we all die and get buried on the same land- Earth.
So, there's no need to fight against each other. The consequences are the same. We all suffer equally. Why Wars, then? Let me tell you, it's because people- humans, love a little drama in their lives. Doesn't life get boring sometimes?
All this hatred start from our young years. How can they up there stop wars when all we do amongst our friends at school is also fighting a war? Spreading rumours, talking behind each other's backs in a negative way of course and acting all innocent in front of the teachers. Even when learning such lessons in school, we never change. So, how can we expect them to change? The others who hold religious and caste beliefs. Our soldiers who fight other nationalities' soldiers and cause destructions that we can't take back.
I always talk from my experience. And in no time have I found out the reality of people around me. Sure, it's fun to shit on others together in groups then act all innocent in front of them. Creating rumours that would cause discomfort. Calling them names between yourselves. Basically, being two-faced. Either do all of these in their faces or don't do it at all. Doing these behind their backs isn't cool.
'Change starts from you', they say. It's time for that change everyone. Now you know where it's all going wrong, right?
